Situation : semi-orphan
Before Grace Home : Prarit comes from the Chetri community. His father is dead after suicide when Prarit was only 3 years old. Then, he lived with his mother and his sister but they were very poor and faced lots of difficulties. Sometimes, they hadn’t enough money to eat. They had to leave their house to leave in the church where the mother was a servant. Church provided them some food and shelter. Prarit hadn’t a good health: he suffered from skin problems in hands and legs. He was very perturbed, having bad feelings in his mind, never smiling, always frightened by the life and people.
Our branch church had, one day, information about the situation of Prarit and his family. That’s why Grace Home went to see and visit them in order to give a durative help. At that time, Prarit was welcome to the orphanage the 12th December 2006 with a letter of the Village Department Committee which certifies he is a semi-orphan.
In Grace Home : Prarit’s health is better now. He hasn’t problem of skin anymore. He is less frightened than before and he is more and more happy. He becomes confident and active. He is interested in working at school and improves his knowledge day by day.
